Event Description:	On Saturday 11th September, the Powerhouse Discovery Centre celebrates the 10th anniversary of ?The best Games ever!? with a packed program of activities for all the family. Step up to our Olympic winners medal podium with your own gold, bronze or silver medal, or come behind-the-scenes with Olympic ceremony costume designer, Jennifer Irwin, to learn firsthand about the design process to create the fabulous costumes we can all remember from the Sydney 2000 opening and closing ceremonies. September is also NSW History Week and our open day will support the 2010 ?Faces in the Street? theme, with programs focused on some of Sydney?s lesser known curious characters.

Event Description:	This is a special opportunity for Mum's to have some FUN and FOCUS - often 2 things that are very rare as a Mum! This is helping to strenghten our families, bring FUN and laughter back to our communities and provide tools for Mum's to rediscover who they are and what they have to offer. This workshop builds Mum's confidence and has her back on track - feeling great about herself and therefore imapcting her family in a positive way! This is called MORE than Mum - FUN and FOCUS! It is 3 days (during school hours - 930am - 230pm) of focusing on how you can rediscover YOU AND have a happier, healthier family!!! It's magical! MORE than MUM's - FUN and FOCUS is a workshop series, it is a physical (not too physical – although you do have to get off your chair and participate in all of the fun activities!) and emotional workout!
